If 0 stars was an option, thats what i would have chosen. Had uncle with me who has heart condition while we were there for an event. His chest got tight, so he sat down on a chair for no more than 5 minutes when an elderly rude woman, who turned out to be a security guard there, came up and started yelling at him for using the chair saying "this chair is for mall patrons only".. There was also a mentally challenged man sitting there as well. The woman proceeded to argue and yell at them until finally she decided to have her security guard team COMPLETELY REMOVE the chairs, forcing a man with a heart condition to be on his feet for much longer than he is supposed to be. Complete disregard for the sports memorabilia show that was going on at the time. Nobody was in the entire mall that wasn't there for this event. That woman is a disgrace of a human being, and in no way should she ever be in any position in which she has to encounter people. I would imagine that this mall was once very busy and great, but it is a ghost town now. It is dirty, and dim, like a dungeon. Had a favorite MLB player not been there for an autograph signing, we would have turned right around and walked out upon arrival. Seriously, do something about the wretched woman in Security. Classless piece of garbage for a human being. To bully a man with mental disabilities and another with a heart condition.
I give it 2 stars because it's a little mall. I do like the stores. Good for clothes shopping for children under 9 and teenage girls. Nothing really for teen boys.
Welcome back to 1977. This mall is half vacant so it does have a mall apocalypse type of feel. They're filling the vacant stores with little kiddie rides, which is strange. AC Moore is technically attached and Toys R Us is on the property so I guess they pay the rent. There are Payless Red Wing shoe stores and a generic, low-cost children's clothing store similar to one you would find on Jamaica Ave. One reason to actually go into this mall: Aegean Pizza - one of the best on Long Island. Unfortunately, I can't think of any other reasons to go in unless you want good pizza.
Mall is pretty empty . But I heard Trader Joes is going into the old Pathmark location and some kind of Roller Rink .
Place is great for shopping there pizza place in the mall is out of this world definitely have to try it along with her salade and homemade dressing.
